Therese Bentley

Therese was born and grew up in Southern California. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University. She then attended graduate school for Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California and worked in the pediatric field. As a mother of four, Therese focused on raising her children and volunteering for causes that were important to her. She was an active “reader” with a Rotary club reading program, served as a teacher’s aide at an educational program for Hispanic women and their children, and worked as a respite volunteer for 10 years with a Hospice organization. In addition, Therese was a volunteer, Co-Director, and now Board Chairperson of Birthright, a pregnancy care center.

Besides these other interests, Therese has always loved music. Introduced to the piano by her mother, Therese grew up in a musical family with her sisters and brother. She continues to enjoy playing the piano which is how she met Milana in 2015 and came to know the Grand Piano Series. Therese is excited by quality musical performances and is committed to Grand Piano Series’ school programs. As a mother of four, she has observed the benefit of great music to children’s development and actively supports our educational mission
