Alina Mizerniuc

Alina is a Global Tax Manager with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. In this capacity, she manages the research for global tax issues, reviews individual and corporate tax returns with an international aspect, conducts new business development, mentors staff and contributes to their development.

Alina was born and raised in Republic of Moldova, moved to Naples, FL in May of 2007 as an exchange student to learn English and shortly after decided to make this a permanent home. Alina is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, where she received a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Accounting and Taxation.

After graduation, Alina launched her career in Naples FL, where she began her specialization in domestic taxation. That eventually led to joining the firm’s national global team as a senior tax accountant in 2015. In 2017, she headed the new tax reform repatriation projects in the Southwest Florida that led to her advancement to the Global Tax Manager.

In the community
Alina serves on the board of directors as a Treasurer for a local non-for-profit organization, Grand Piano Series. Their mission is to preserve, through high-quality performance, the existence of vast body of piano music repertoire, to facilitate performances, study, and understanding of classical music. Alina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA).

She is a member of a local STEP chapter that serves as a hub for local forums of practitioners advising domestic and international families (and businesses) plan their assets across generations and much more.
